There always seems to be confusion regarding what can go in the Organic Waste Compost bins. When I first started using them, I was amazed at how much of my waste was organic. Now it is like a game in my house! How much can we reduce our on-biodegradable waste? Here is a good guide I found:
Fruits and vegetables
Meat, poultry, fish products
Pasta, bread, cereals, rice
Dairy, eggs and shells
Coffee grounds, filters, tea bags
Cake, cookies, candy
Diapers, sanitary products
Pet waste, bedding and litter
House plants and soil
All soiled papers can go in there as well, including paper towel, paper food packaging, sugar and flour bags, tissues and ice cream packages.
Hope this helps! Happy Thanksgiving!
